Florida's Next Governor Will Shape FAMU's Future.
Help Us Make Sure It's the Right One.
We are Fearless Alumni.
Mobilized and Unstoppable.
Strike Forward for FAMU mobilizes alumni, students, and supporters to strategically influence Florida's 2026 gubernatorial election—protecting our university's interests through coordinated voter engagement and political power that cannot be ignored.

Welcome to the Strike Forward Movement
This is a grassroots alumni-led nonpartisan initiative with a targeted and intentional focus on the 2026 gubernatorial election and the accountability of the governor once elected.
Strike Forward for FAMU will evaluate all gubernatorial candidates using a standardized questionnaire focused on issues directly impacting Florida A&M University and the broader public higher education ecosystem. Candidate responses will be assessed through a transparent scorecard.
Based on these evaluations, and with the votes of verified students and alumni, Strike Forward for FAMU will publicly endorse the candidate whose positions most strongly align with the long-term interests of FAMU.
Every verified FAMU student and alumni will have the opportunity to vote on the endorsed candidate.
This nonpartisan organization will not solicit or accept political contributions. Instead, supporters will be encouraged to contribute directly to endorsed candidates, reinforcing transparency, and individual civic engagement.
Following the election, the movement will continue by monitoring the governor’s actions, decisions, and policies as it relates to the commitments and proposed actions made during the campaign.
